They truly know how to care for children. My son has developed so many new skills, and I’m so glad I chose to register him at this karate school. I really enjoyed the ride to black belt and always felt encouraged by the amazing atmosphere of this dojo along the way.
Training here made showing up on time and pushing myself a standard. At first, it was because I was always excited to push a little harder to get that new stripe or belt. Over time, this turned into discipline, as well as perseverance. These values started to naturally carry over to all parts of my life and guide my actions.
At this dojo, you don't just receive a black belt, you're truly, year by year, taught what it means to be a blackbelt. I also learned some pretty cool techniques along the way as well : )

From the very first class, my daughter was hooked—and her love for karate has only grown stronger since then. She takes great pride in her progress and achievements, and rightfully so.
Shihan Scott and every member of his instructor team are true professionals. Not only are they skilled martial artists, but they also have a special talent for connecting with kids. They create a supportive environment where any nerves are gently eased.
The atmosphere in class is both relaxed and respectful. Each child moves forward at their own pace—sometimes slowly, sometimes with surprising leaps, much like their physical growth: one day gradual, and the next, you're wondering when that growth spurt happened.

I absolutely would recommend this place. I was hesitant to have my twins join as they have Autism and sometimes social settings can be hard for them. From the moment we came for a trial to every session since it has been nothing but compassion and inclusion. Every teacher there has been very patient and accommodating for them. Even when there are times when they are acting up and I try to intervene they relax me and tell me “we’ve got it” and they do. My kids enjoy coming and it has built their confidence and it is great to have them get some exercise.

Canada’s Best Karate has meant a lot to my family over the years. I trained here as a kid and through my teen years, and I was always happy there. The instructors were supportive and skilled, the lessons were well run, and the training was consistent and high quality.
What really stuck with me was what the school taught beyond karate. You learn discipline, hard work, respect, and strong character. It also encourages self-control, perseverance, confidence, and being accountable for your actions. Those are the kinds of lessons that stay with you long after class ends.
Now that I’m bringing my own kids, it feels great to come back and see that same positive environment. I chose this school based on its excellent Google rating, and even though there are closer locations to our home, we are happy we chose this one.
