Confidence is more that being outgoing Every child has moments of uncertainty. Trying something new, meeting new people, or speaking in front of a group can make even the most outgoing child feel nervous. But when hesitation becomes a pattern, it may be a sign that your child needs help building confidence. The challenge is that low confidence isn't always obvious.
