Canada's Best Karate in Vaughan is very proud to announce that seven student advanced to the rank of black belt!  The following students successfully completed the Black Belt Grading this past weekend, after performing (and surviving : ) through over 10 hours of training:

Alexander Edjiu
Christian Bancea
Michael Bruno
Michael Ciummelli
Sabrina DeRose
Brandon DeRose
 
Also grading this weekend was Adam Staley, who not only received the rank of Second Degree Black Belt but was also awarded the title of "Sempai", which means "senior instructor".  This title is only given out to students who hold the rank of 2nd degree black belt and who have undergone extensive teacher training under the supervision of the dojo sensei.

The black belt is widely recognized as representing the highest standard of physical training and mental discipine.  Student commitment from 4 to 10 years to be able to test for this level.
